What is the Consignment Night?
Created by Ramapo high schools official Fashion Club with the intent of using the students love of fashion to empower people in their community. The fundraiser revolves around offering people a unique shopping experience, exposing people in the FLOW district to local vendors as well as internationally recognized brands. The night is dynamic offering people more than just amazing clothing but also numerous raffle opportunities, delicious food, and music all to benefit Oasis in Paterson, NJ.
From coordinating food and music to liaising relations with businesses for donation this event is 100% organized by students in Indian Hills and Ramapo High Schools. Team work, persistence and a passion for fashion fuel the event, boosting life skills of the students by giving them experience in event planning, the fashion industry and providing them with validation to see the yearly vision come to life.
Why?
A multi faceted event that benefits all parties. Supporting the event helps support Oasis rehabilitate the community of Paterson through education and childcare. It also helps support local business, introduces people to new brands, and supports entrepenurial behavior in high school youth.
